About this course

A two-day programme in advanced skin rejuvenation, built for aesthetic practitioners who already inject and want to add complementary treatments to what they offer. It covers three modalities in demand across the region: polynucleotides, skin boosters and platelet-rich plasma therapy.

Each module sets out the science behind the treatment, the criteria for selecting patients and products, and supervised practice in administering it.

What each module covers

Polynucleotides

• Using polynucleotides in the management of acne scarring, fine lines, skin tone and dark under-eye circles
• How polynucleotides act on skin elasticity, collagen production and hydration
• Product selection, administration and patient care across the face, hair, under-eye area and jawline, using the leading polynucleotide brands

Skin boosters

• Where skin boosters fit within a wider facial aesthetics offering
• Their mechanism of action on skin hydration, elasticity and tone
• Assessment, technique and aftercare for skin booster treatment

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy

• The science behind PRP and its practical application in skin rejuvenation
• Patient selection criteria for PRP
• Advanced technique in preparing and administering PRP injections

Who this course is for

Practitioners who have already completed foundation soft tissue filler training and want more hands-on experience with complementary treatments. It is not an entry-level course.

Open to general practitioners, specialists, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, prosthodontists, orthodontists, maxillofacial surgeons, general surgeons and ENT consultants.

If you have not yet trained in soft tissue fillers, start with the foundation injectables programme before booking this course.

It is each participant's responsibility to check the current PQR and scope-of-practice rules of their own health authority before enrolling.

Accreditation and assessment

The course is approved under the DHA and the KHDA. Practical competence is assessed through supervised hands-on training across the three modalities.

• Registration is confirmed only once payment is received by Vilafortuny Specialised Training Centre.
• Cancellations made 14 or more days before the start date receive a 50% refund.
• Cancellations made inside 14 days are not eligible for a refund.

• No-shows without prior notice are not refunded.
